In Vietnam they follow the Lunar New Year. This year, New Year begins on Febuary 18th. In Vietnam the New Year is marked with a vibrant festival called "Tet".

Your blog looks GREAT! It was great to that your flights are confirmed and read your itinerary. The shower at IC sounded great too. Loved the graphic on your New Year's post. PS - I meant to add that I was born in the year of the Snake! And if you can - pick up a mah jong set (may possibly be pronounced mat chuck or some variation...) so that in a few years we can all play some mah jong together!
