Ava started staying at Daddy’s a few nights a week – a new adventure in a new bedroom. She has a Dora toddler bed at Daddy’s that she received from Annie – she loves it. It is amazing how much stuff you collect when you own a house for 8.5 years. I had several good bye gatherings and events with friends, co-workers, and family.
Thanksgiving week was very busy! The movers took the final really big stuff to Kurt’s, loaded my stuff in a truck and then it went to storage. We closed on the C house and I moved to my new town on my birthday – which happened to be Thanksgiving this year. For my birthday Ava gave me a very pretty card with stickers and drawings then we then we went to lunch (Thanksgiving and birthday) at a local restaurant – no homemade turkey dinner this year.

Each day she found new toys to play with (pots, pans, cans of food, clean diaper and towel hats, drawing in sugar on the kitchen floor, and toilet paper dresses). She is very creative and liked helping put stuff in and out of boxes. Fortunately she also likes putting the tape on the boxes, so if mommy was quick enough the stuff might not come back out of the box…She also liked using the trash bags of clothes to sit on like a horse, and she used boxes to create a maze. as houses, and as boats and bathtubs for herself, the stuffed animals, and our cat.
