Happy 2nd Birthday Ava Linh!

Ava turned 2 today - Happy Birthday to our very special girl! We love you!

The last few weeks have been busy. Grammy Marva has been out to visit. Day care is closed this week so Mommy and Ava went out to Grammy Belva's house for the weekend and then Ava stayed a few extra days. She also had a great time playing with cousin Emily and Aunt Lynette. On our way to Albany we stopped in Cazenovia and got to see Austin, Alex, Rebeca, Grammy and their parents - Ava also received lots of presents at an impromptu birthday party.

At the moment Ava is all about Dora and Diego. She has this pretty big Dora doll that must go everywhere - including sitting for meals, taking baths, and going to bed. Over the weekend she received several other Dora/Diego related items and latched on to a big hard plastic "rescue pack" which talks... after a few days I think Grammy started hiding it... Ava had a wonderful birthday week! Thanks to all who made it special! Grammy will be here on Wednesday and they will head down to Great Grandma's for the day, then it's back to quality time with mom, dad and all of their silly rules :).

Cute things Ava did - spent over an hour organizing the party materials, putting stickers all over the place, reminding Daddy that he needed to wear the birthday hat each time he tried to take it off, singing songs, trying to ride her bike, watching the kitty when it was in her Dora tent, hugging and playing with Emily, running through the store with Grammy chasing her while mommy was trying on suits, pushing the rescue pack button - at least at first... , playing with her balloons. Ava is 32.5 inches tall and weighs 23 pounds.
